When my first daughter was born in 2006, I saw the need for trendy yet affordable hair accessories. Having a graphic design degree, being creative was always in my DNA and something I enjoyed.
I began creating, embellishing and designing clips, hats and bands for babies and little girls. I would display things on my dining room table when someone would be coming.
Slowly I expanded to older girl’s and women’s hats and bands. The hats include fedoras, berets and newsboys, all with any applique shown of your choice.
OK so I have recently decided I had enough of my 2 season old Coach bag.
It is basic black which can be classy but a bit boring when there are no other options in my closet for the fall/winter season. I have a cream colored Michael Kors bag (which I am also “over”) that I use for spring/summer.
But what really annoys me about it is that it is a top handle bag. Meaning I cannot use it on my shoulder. It tends to be quite frustrating when you are holding your children’s hands-where to put the bag?!?
So, my new “it” bag that I am oogling (is that a word? lol) over is a Balenciaga. I have a lot of research to do ie color and exact style before I actually make the purchase. I am petite so I cannot carry something too large but I love the oversized look.
So my options I think are: Arena Classic City, Arena Classic First, Arena Classic Town. I know I prefer the small hardware to the big ones. And I would need a darker color as I would be using it in the fall/winter season. But I am thinking for the amount of money it is I would also like the option of using it the other seasons so I’m not sure black would do it. or those of you who paid attention to what I wrote in the first few lines I know I called black boring but even if I do get this in black it has so much more character than the coach I fid it hard to believe it will ever get boring!
Although my husband has claimed I do get bored all too easily. *Sigh* what’s a girl to do;)
I absolutely love love love Victoria Beckham’s style. She has an aura of sophistication.
She always looks impeccable. That includes obviously when she’s dressed for a party or night out, and just as much on her casual looking days when she’s out with her beautiful kids and hubby! She can pull off anything.
And I totally envy her closet! Her bags, her shoes and clothes, I love them all. When she’s not wearing the intentional “over-sized, loose fitting” look, her clothes are tailored so perfectly on her body it’s as if she was sewn into them. I always get my clothes tailored-I hate when things don’t fit just perfect. It is a rare instance when right off the hanger it fits perfectly. Many people just put on an outfit not caring about strange pulls or creases. Ahhh lol-that’s a major pet peeve of mine!
I would like to dedicate my first post to my sisters Susana and Aliza.
Seeing them so dedicated to their own blogs, they have inspired me to create mine as a place to share my thoughts, finds and passion.
Susana’s blog’s purpose is to clear up misconceptions about Israel by laying out the history of the region, detailing facts pertaining to the situation, discussing international law as it relates to the conflict, and keeping you updated with news-worthy items. As a lawyer, her passion lies in International, specifically with regard to the much-discussed Middle East conflict between Israel and the Palestinians.

Aliza’s blog has a lesser serious tone, but just as much a go-to spot for me, is sharing her love of stories. She writes “I love stories, books, shows, movies, poems, songs, pictures…they all tell stories. I like to get lost in them. Even if it’s just for a little bit.” Her blog is full of stories, poems, some that she’s written, some that she’s found, video clips that make an impact on her whether deep or just a humorous tidbit.
