Love my new kicks!

ImageSo I know I’m way behind on the wedge sneaker trend.

I always thought it looked super cute but I hesitated for a few reasons.

Here are my reasons and why they don’t stick now (I rationalize very hard lol):

One, I rarely walk out in sneakers so I figured when would I end up using them?

They give a totally different vibe! They take it up a notch, so they are more shoes than sneakers but are still very casual.

Plus, I have enough shoes.

Never!

New shoes!

Maybe I’m nuts but I looooove new shoes!

While shopping for my girl’s shoes, (which I always do online) I’ll be honest and say I ventured into the women’s section and fell in love with these cute little shoes! The black and white combo is so crisp and fresh. They are pretty comfortable although maybe not for long term walking. I suffer for fashion anyway.

Now I just need the weather to break!!

I got them at Nordstrom and they are by Halogen.

Christian Louboutin set to create Cindarella’s glass slipper

In honor of Disney’s release of Cinderella on Blue Ray and DVD this fall, Christian Louboutin was commissioned to put his own magic to create a glass slipper of his own. The shoe will be revealed this summer. Louboutin is honored and states, “I have been so lucky to have crossed paths with Cinderella, an icon who is so emblematic to the shoe world as well as the dream world”.

I wonder what it will look like. I’m sure it will be a beautiful stiletto and have his trademark red soles. Will it be over the top, or simple? Only time will tell!

Christian Louboutin vs. YSL. War on red.

In the fashion world the color red is synonymous with Christian Louboutin’s red soled shoes. His shoes are coveted by celebrities and plain folk alike.

In 1992, Christian Louboutin felt that a pair of his shoes “lacked energy”. He then painted the sole of the shoes with red nail polish and voilà, a trademark is set. Or so he thought.

He registered the color in 2008. He thought his color was protected, just like Tiffany & Co.’s blue color is protected by trademark.

Luxurious brand Yves Saint Laurent created a shoe called Continue reading

I love Bethenny Frankel’s style (pics!)

There’s something about Bethenny Frankel that I’ve always been drawn to. I followed her from Real Housewives of New York, to Bethenny Getting Married. Truth be told the main reason I liked RHNY was Bethenny. Although of course I still watch it now (all the housewive shows are my guilty pleasures:)) it definitely got more boring without her.

Firstly I love her quick tongue. Granted, that gets her into trouble sometimes but I tend to get flustered if someone says something to me I’m not expecting so I wish I had that quality where I can say something in return without missing a beat!

Then of course is her fashion sense. Her body is sick (in a good way!) so I’m sure anything looks awesome on her. But I mostly love Continue reading

Zappos, Endless oh my!

Here’s a pic of my shoe order accumulations from the past week!! I love shoes and absolutely LOVE shopping for shoes, especially online.

I like how I can keep tabs open on my browser during shopping and then can compare shoes I am interested in and then order them to try. I tend to get many boxes per order because I order a few different styles of the type of shoe I’m looking into & I always order 2 to 3 sizes as I really range so to be on the safe side I get them all if available. Of course the beauty is, Continue reading
